Conversation classes are for learners who already have some French and want more speaking practice than a standard grammar-focused class can provide. They are useful for travel, work, relocation, exams or simply becoming less hesitant.
Level and class structure
The right conversation level depends on your current grammar, vocabulary and listening confidence. Elementary learners may practise everyday topics and guided role plays; intermediate learners can discuss opinions, news, culture and longer scenarios.
Skills covered
Lessons focus on speaking, listening, pronunciation, vocabulary recall and correction. Teachers keep the class active while helping learners notice recurring errors and speak with more range.

Conversation group fees depend on the intake and duration; current fee guidance lists adult conversation from S$250 for selected 8-hour groups. Private conversation tuition starts from S$80/hour for one student. Lessons are available at Novena or online, subject to scheduling.
