Yes. We offer live online classes for students who prefer this option. You are still welcome to drop by and say hello anytime.

Yes. You do not need to re-purchase the textbook for sub-modules within the same level. For example, Beginner 1 and Beginner 2 usually use the same textbook.

No. We do not charge registration, yearly or membership fees. You only pay for lessons and books where required.

French Toast is based in Singapore, with local classrooms and qualified professional staff. We cannot match the prices of online platforms that connect students with random teachers based abroad, but we focus on structured lessons, continuity and local support.

We plan courses according to confirmed student numbers, so attendance matters. However, we understand that plans can change and refunds may be possible in some circumstances. Please check our terms and conditions for details.

Start with Beginner 1. Our adult levels are divided into modules, and the Beginner pathway builds towards CEFR A1. You can continue module by module or stop after the module that matches your goal.

Yes. You can take our placement test or contact us with background information such as when and how long you studied French. If needed, a teacher can help evaluate your level.

If you cannot attend a lesson, contact us and we will do our best to find a make-up option. Please note that it is not always possible, especially when no suitable class is running at the same time.

Yes, we welcome everyone. However, adult courses are designed for adult learners, so younger students are usually better placed in children, secondary or JC courses.

For children under 6, our playgroup classes offer fun and educational activities in French. With a native-speaking teacher, your child becomes familiar with French sounds and everyday vocabulary.

Primary school children can join our children’s courses. If your child is a total beginner, choose Beginner level, module 1.

If your child is exempted from one of Singapore’s official mother tongue languages by MOE, French may be studied in lieu of mother tongue. French Toast supports primary, secondary and JC learners on this pathway.

We follow the MOELC programme for secondary students, which ultimately prepares learners for O-Level French. Our secondary classes are usually 2 hours per week, so homework and regular practice are very important. Additional lessons may be recommended for full exam preparation.
